Despite winning a bunch of tokens and lasting about two hours in the Mookie, I did not have great cards. In fact, I wouldn't even say that I had good cards. In all of that play, I recall having AA once and KK once. I stayed alive by folding. A lot.
I was definitely disappointed that I didn't get paid on any overbets for value in the Mookie. Once I rivered quad 6s on a straight heavy board and once I rivered a king high straight for the well-hidden nuts. Both times I was out of position and tried to make a fishy-looking play.
No love.
