Not all precincts are reporting yet, but Al has provided this tease of the third installment of the Battle of the Blogger Tournaments:

7 seats to the World Series of Poker.

Don't ask me how, just enjoy.

Specifically, we're getting two (2) seats in the WSoP Main Event as well as five (5) $2,000 seat packages to preliminary events. We're also getting cash for the leaderboard, freeroll and an interesting little writing contest.

Good stuff.

The freaky part is the series itself: 55 events over 13 weeks. That's either 4 or 5 events per week. Total buyins of over $1,000. Poker your eyes out. Forget about sleep, work, family obligations, all that crap and just play. And play and play and play.

Yikes.

Since there's no way in hell I'm going to win a seat by playing (and I apparently don't have a chance at writing my way in, since my attempt last time didn't even make the list of entries!), I'm going to be thinking about stupid prop bets instead.

Number of persons playing all 55 events -- O/U 3
Number of persons playing 50+ events -- O/U 10
Number of persons playing 40+ events -- O/U 26
